Dental Assistant
I am your dental assistant here at Ross Valley Dental. I have six years experience in the field. I feel secure as a valuable member of our team and enjoy interacting with all of our patients. Outside of work, I am attending College of Marin here in Kentfield two days per week. I enjoy hiking dancing, and spending time with family, friends and my kind boyfriend (now husband) of seven years.
Dentist
Hi. I am Dr. Nikita Kazak, a general and cosmetic dentist here in San Anselmo, Ca. I enjoy working with clients to craft their healthcare goals in an environment where every team member is involved.
After graduating Magna Cum Laude from U.O.P with a degree in in Biological Sciences, I pursued my DDS degree from the University of The Pacific Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. I was fortunate to be recognised by the American College of Prosthodontists for outstanding clinical achievement. I was additionally awarded the Dr. Henry Sutro Award for the best oral rehabilitation design.
I was born in Ukraine and grew up in San Francisco. I often spend weekends hiking the local beautiful trails, listening to podcasts, and catching up on Netflix comedy specials. I find my time with family and friends most especially rewarding.
Dentist
I am a second generation San Franciscan native. I have lived here in San Anselmo for the past thirty years. I decided to be a dentist at age thirteen. I am glad that I did so. I have enjoyed a fulfilling career.
I graduated from San Jose State University. Then it was on to the UOP School of Dentistry where I received my DDS. Next came a General Practice Residency in Columbia, South Carolina where I learned more than I had absorbed in my four year dental school training. The following two years, I worked at the US Army Medical-Dental clinic at the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia. Upon returning home, I worked at multiple offices while I prepared to open my own office in 1979 which I left in 2015.
I later worked at the Marin Community Clinic in both San Rafael and Novato where I was fortunate to be of assistance to those less fortunate. For five years, I spent Wednesdays at the UOP Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco where I learned more than I taught. I am currently an adjunct faculty member and plan to return to my part time clinical position in late 2021. I have a dry Irish wit. I love laughter and stories. I love my family and my close friends. I love my career and what I do.
I am at a stage of my dental path where I come to work because I have a passion. I wish to engage people. I crave interpersonal interaction and communication. I want to educate and help all of my patients. I want to give back more than I take away. Every day. That is my story.
Office Manager
I have had extended experience in the service industry. I learned customer service while I worked as a manager at Nordstrom. My responsibilities 
included being the cosmetic floor manager to being a gift ware buyer. This is the environment where I learned the value of customer service, something that I have carried forward through today. I am here to make your experience at Ross Valley Dental seamless.
I have been involved in the health care industry for the past twenty-one years. After managing a dermatology office in Mill Valley for two years, I moved on to manage a plastic surgery office in Greenbrae for an additional five years. I have been in dental office management for the last fourteen years.
I enjoy interacting and helping our patients. I take pride in finding solutions to patient concerns.
My most meaningful outside joy is the time that I spend with family and friends. I also enjoy my arts and crafts hobbies, cooking, and being outside near our home here in San Anselmo.
